When I was making Rain Over Monster City, I was originally going to do something different, but I thought it would be cool to make a city setting and with an unusual background that could add some suspense to the picture with the monster’s eye. I added the cloud with rain in order to make the viewer feel a sense of mystery. I used a ruler to try to make this more precise and exact to add some realism to the drawing.
